Very understated, but they made it work. sashimi salmon was good, but everything else was so. I was underwhelmed for such a high rated space.

I wish I could have taken photos before we quote literally devoured every dish that was placed before us. The fish is beyond fresh. It’s like butter; top quality, no chewy sinew stuff from low-grade sushi. Absolutely delicious. The portion size is quite large which is impressive. We are the agedashi tofu, soft shell crab, scallop sushi, salmon sashimi, two house rolls, house salad (BEST DRESSING EVER shrimp and vegetable tempura, and the sesame tuna. Every single dish was excellent!!! Highly, highly recommend Utamaro Sushi!
