UCC Vienna Café - Mandaluyong

I ordered the Shitake Lengua Omurice. First of, service was very fast. Less than mins, food was served hot. Its a sizeable entree, can be split by Lengua pieces were super tender, no need for a knife. I wish there was more sauce though, halfway through the dish, i had sopped up all of it already. The rice had a reheated feel to it- not tender or fluffy anymore, although I appreciated that it was seasoned with curry. But most disappointing was the omelette itself which was not fluffy at all but thin and dry. Still, the overall taste is good and service is efficient so I would still come back to UCC to try their other dishes. In terms of prices, they’re on the high side but I think the service and quality makes up for it. So if you just want to treat yourself a little, it’s worth going here to try some jap-western fusion food.

Morning morning breakfast in ucc (yes, were practically regular here! thanks to our big mothers who love both, hanging in the two near their houses with their banana and chocolate French toast. in contrast to the usual egg dipped pieces by laafbrot, this place uses large cubes of soft brot for a fluffier, experience. plus isn't it sweet to see them all stacked like blocks? these beautiful squares come with a generous support of chocolate syrup, with slices of fresh bananas and a buffalo picked cream to complete it. what a great way to start today!

Ucc is my Go-to-Trösteressen. my usual order would be the rice caserole or the Japanese soup spaghetti. this time I wanted to try something else, so my order. I asked her about her best salesman and they point to the spicy puttanesca. I was kind of surprised that they were not on my usual submissions, as I think they were quite in demand and taste. When the food arrived, I was kind of disappointed. I would prefer her others better. my father ordered the meatball spaghetti and I, personally, preferably his order, in consideration of the price is about 200 pesos cheaper. Came late in the night looking for a place to be light dessert, coffee and cool ucc vienna is definitiw the place to be. I was not wrong to come here, I went for her cafe latte and her salted caramel cat. both were just great. the coffee had the perfect temperature after which to serve, they did not have to wait too cold, they can drink it immediately. I love the coffee art she also made cake was super light and delicious. not too sweet!
