I have rolled up at zomato and found hoshimaru and decided to try it because the reviews are good. we ordered the same thing the curry katsu don is for 145 pesos. I really like the plate and the servier plate. it looks like it's so fancy. not only what it looks like, but it's soou goouod! I want more tears. it is soouo tasteful. I also tried her sushi 2 for 55 pesos and I didn't expect much. but it has turned out good.
I finished the Dongatsu set. quite good food for P170. the Katsu piece was quite meaty and served crispy with cauliflower salad on the side. the udon was served hot and broth slightly flavored. at my next visit their other don bowls.
The curry katsudon (P145) was really delicious. Even for this price, the meat was well cooked and flavorful (tastes Japanese for me). I want to try the other dishes.

The Katsus were also beautifully plated. It’s like I’ve dined at a Japanese...read more
Got their Tempura Udon (P135). I thought it was a steal for the price, especially when the food got out looking like something from an expensive restaurant. But when I tried it, it was waaay too salty. The cook deserves to be reprimanded for wasting ingredients and consequently, losing potential suki.
