When we arrived, only one host who worked, and she seemed to have worked very hard and had to wait a little to get the place. she couldn't find our reservation that she said, but still sat. we were immediately impressed by our waiter billy. He spoke to us about her wife's name and was extremely friendly. he was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu and very attentive, while we observe our drinks and dinners. the brotservice came with various types of brot, wonderful VT butter and a beautiful low pfeffers, and also some mandarin oranges that seemed out of place, but I really enjoyed. we ordered a suppe to begin the French tweebel and corn-chowder. neither was very hot, especially the corn shear. the French was in a regular bowl, not a traditional crock, a small crouton and a piece of melted but not tanned cheese up, it was just ok. the mais and bacon knower would probably have been better if he were hotter, but also it seems to be a little seasonal. for a deer we ordered the brain cake and a special black pasta with lobster. the pork cake was a very generous portion with several meats and covered with sweat potatoes. it was a nice one and another then take the traditional, as the waiter had explained, and was probably the best cure of the evening. I was very excited for the black pasta with lobster when I ordered it, said the waiter, it was a little spicy, and that was even more excited about it. I like hot things, but the seasoned were too much. Not too much for me to eat it, although many would find it so much to really enjoy the aromen. I could not even taste the lobster and the black pasta under the intensity of the hot paprika. when we were done, it was busy and a 'cause for the check.
Safe to get a reservation even if they say they don't need any. the service was painfully slow. the chef tried very hard to have unique options. some really liked to eat, others didn't.
The hostess was unstoppable for all those who wait. the waitress was much better, but disappointed that she didn’t feel “pampered” from the beginning.
Amazing meal in the gorgeous Equinox hotel after a long day of skiing. If you’re in Manchester it’s a must!
We needed to ask for a server to come to our table.... entrees took more than an hour to arrive. Our server claimed it was the kids pizza holding things up...... the kids Pizza could have been cooked in a microwave....adult entrees were sub par given the price. The $38 steak frites amounted to four bites of steak and all in (with wine for 2) we paid more than $300! Not a happy customer!
