The buffet for sides was not fresh and everything was poorly seasoned. cheesey cauliflower was good, I 'll say that) they claim they rotate 12 meat offerings and we kept being served the same five. The meat was under seasoned, it was well cooked but the quality of meat was sub par. I 'm sorry but I couldn 't believe my eyes when the bill came. They did not discuss price and they do not put a menu infront of you. The jazz musician they had was not good. I couldn 't wait to get out of there. How are there so many good reviews it blows my mind.
Went there on a Sunday for brunch, food was good, the buffet was stocked and fresh. The steak tips were great! The bacon wrapped chicken was super dry and under seasoned (but its a steakhouse so, I dont expect the chicken to be perfect). The service was great, we had an excellent server! The atmosphere is kinda upscale and had a live piano player, which was nice. Definitely not a place for a rowdy or millennial brunch, but great for a family or older generation. Overallexperience was good!
We we?re excited to go to Gauchos to celebrate my daughter?s birthday, we quickly regretted our visit. The buffet was a terrible display of cheap food. The food looked old. Cold cuts? Bologna was one of the choices. There was a table with four guest next to us, the waiter with the meat came to that table 4 times in the span of 20 minutes while we sat there with our sample of their buffet. I watched as he would offer the other table then approach us if there wasanything left to offer. It seemed they had only one waiter doing the meat offering. The cost is $44 per person for the experience, what a joke. The manager was kind enough to let us leave without paying for the buffet sample we had. Inthe entire restaurant only the table in front of us and our own was occupied. I went to the manager to explain the disappointment and she said we should be patient, that we had only been there for 5 minutes. The decor in this restaurantrepresents their food, low quality. The service was sad. After my conversation with the manager, I decided we were better off going somewhere else.
Went here for brunch this morning and it was awesome. I tried every single meat they brought out. Each type was so tender, you barely needed a knife and could just slice through with your fork. The flavor of each meat was different and perfectly seasoned. You didn?t need any type of dipping sauce for this steak/prime rib or sirloin and I?m one who usually uses A1 like crazy on steak. I had some shrimp cocktail and fresh mozzarella/tomato salad from the buffet. Everythingwas awesome. The restaurant was clean, the staff and service was fast and friendly. We will definitely go back again.
We?ve been to a lot of Brazilian steak houses and our visit here fell short. We were seated and handed a drink menu that was dirty and had something spilled over half of it. My husband put his hand on the chair to pull it in and was surprised to realize that he had stuck his hand in gum. The salad bar was decent. We had to ask for the cheese rolls because none were given to us. We were told it?d be 30 minutes?50 minutes went by and we still didn?t have any so I askedagain. I was told 5-10 more minutes. A manager then came by a little later just to check in and I mentioned we were still waiting on the rolls. She comes back and tells us 5 more minutes because there?s oven issues. After an hour total ofasking for them, the rolls came out and tasted undercooked. The gauchos were very nice. The meat in general was OK but all the chicken was over cooked/dry. The teriyaki steak was good. The server appeared to be doing the whole place byherself. We went spans of time without refills and when she dropped them off she?d set it down very quickly then scurry off. I feel like she was nicest to us when handing us the check. I?m not a stickler but we go out to be treated and havea nice time. And when I?m spending $145 on a meal I expect to be satisfied and we were not. We?ve had better experiences at other locations.
