Piccola Ristorante Bar - Manchester

My first time eating at Piccola's was when I was on business, I brought my husband on the trip. We have eaten all over the world and we are lovers of good wine. Piccola's was a great experience. Since our first we ate at Piccola's we have found reason's to stay as near to the area as possible. We look forward to find an excuse to eat here. Thank you for the great food and great wine list.

With reservations 8:00, we were seated 8:50 after asking status 3x. Poor scheduling! Appetizers took at least 30 minutes after ordering, another 30 min. for entrées 10:05pm. Staffing seemed adequate and pricey for portions. Did not order dessert long wait took our appetite away!

Two out of three orders were wrong. Portions were skimpy. Sauce was bland. Chain restaurants serve Italian as good with lower cost. Waiter never offered to comp anything after all the errors. We won't be going back !

Very disappointed with my meal. I had Risotto which was way overcooked and mushy. Also it was very bland. I've never paid so much for a plate of food that I liked so little. Overall, I felt it is overpriced priced for mediocre food.

My wife and I ate there for lunch and thought the food and service were wonderful. We are already planning a return visit.
