Contribuiți la feedbackStopped for lunch on a Sunday, before going to BJ 's next door. COVID precautions in place, and feel comfortable in there. Decided to have the Breakfast All Day burger for myself, and the wife hade bacon cheeseburger junior size. They came out in five minutes, both were hot and fresh. They 're served in little envelopes which was a nice touch, and prevents juices, and other items from falling out. I rate a perfect burger (other than burgers that come with sauces as part of them) when there is no need of ketchup. Perfect amount of juices in it, and every bite was moist, not a dry or over cooked patty. The combo of the hash brown, smoked bacon, and egg all came together perfectly. My wife 's burger was great also. We split a large fry, and I had a fountain drink, and the wife had a bottled soda. I wish we could give it 3.5 stars, but I 'm giving 4 stars. Here 's the drawbacks: Burgers are priced on the high side of medium. Are they worth it? I say yes, if they 're flawless, which ours were. But if you happen to have one that 's sub par, then there is a call to be upset. The fries were cooked on the dark side, which is ok, but you get everything from skin, crisp pieces, to some that crop when picked up. Again they were pricey. Lastly was the soda prices. It cost $2.97, no matter if it was a fountain or a bottled. Sorry, for a basic takeout, which you have a counter, not a waitress, this is ridiculous. The burgers made me give it 4 stars. Like In and Out, and other designer burger places, high prices to me are an issue, especially when you have to go to a counter versus table service. You have to try this place, and either agree with my comments, or think otherwise.
Ate there ONCE. Three bites of bun only till you hit burger. Pay for ketchup at counter to find it is free near the soda. People rave about this place, don't know why. Go to Jefferson fry instead or 5 guys.
Good: Great greasy burgers, solid shake. Amazing tomato quality. Jalapeños were super fresh. Lettuce good enough, but not crispy like it should be. The stamp on the bun was interesting. Metal chairs for smaller tables for the older diner hole in the wall experience. Pretty good customer service. Ugly: Fries not worth a damn. Soggy fry score: 2 10. Onion rings fell apart, leaving behind nice big onion slices to eat alongside the breading. Synopsis: Might buy a burger and shake here again +3), would probably get the sides anywhere else -1).
Came here for lunch. It was ok. No ice cream for the shakes, which is a MAJOR disappointment. I know we have COVID, but come on, BJ's wholesale Club is right next door. The burger was very good, bacon nice and crispy. They don't know how to cook fries, they were mahogany brown and limp. You MUST blanch, cool, then fry again.
Where do I start? 1). I drove quite a distance to get to this establishment (from the Waterbury area). I had obligations in the neighboring area and my girlfriend and I wanted a burger. 2). We love places that appear to have quality food like the waygu they offer and try different marketing schemes to differ themselves from the competition 3). But how do I rate or score or even give a honest review if you're not open during your hours or operation. I arrive to the Manchester location at 2pm today (June 5, 2022). Hours were from noon to 8 (online and on the door). But no one was there. No one showed up to work. No posted notice or rhyme or reason as to why the business was closed. Cars are pulling up, people yanking on the doors. Leaning onto the windows of the establishment to see if anyone was home....not a soul. So what did I do. Looked up the closest burger restaurant and paid double and I honestly do not care. I'd rather pay $5,000 for a meal but as long as I get good service and a great meal that's all I'm asking. Price means nothing. As a customer all we ask for are 3 things. Quality business standards Quality food Quality service Listen I tried to get past all the bad reviews and give your business a chance and you didn't fail to disappoint. So bravo I don't know what needs improvement. Maybe if you were open I could maybe shed some light on what's going on from a customer perspective but alas this business might've just shielded itself from further embarrassment.
