Curry Wokker Asian Recipe

The workers there are so incredibly polite and sweet, gave me extra food for free, food is top notch 11/10 can't wait to go there with a huge group of friends!

They had their online order turned on and they were not ready for taking orders for lunch. Had only so much time for lunch today and now I do not get to eat because of the timing for online ordering. Thanks

Thought this was a newly opened restaurant, but it's just a separate concept inside Mae Ploy Thai, presumably with the same ownership and staff. In fact, it looks like there are no fewer than 3 concepts operating in this one small space they're practically running a ghost kitchen up in here! Ordered takeout here for lunch, pretty meh. Interesting options like macadamia nut stir fry, but flavor was overall quite lacking. Asked for X Hot and there was virtually no heat at all. Gloopy, vaguely sweet garlicky mishmash of meat, veggies, and nuts. Even the rice was somehow bad and wet and clumpy. I pathologically detest wasting food so I made the leftovers into congee, but that rice was halfway there already. The biggest positive was that they have walnut shrimp, a Cantonese (not Thai) classic, which was altogether decent flavorwise, with acceptably plump shrimp. Bafflingly, the shrimp still had the tails on, which is okay for cocktail shrimp or coconut shrimp but not for a shrimp dish where the entire bug is deep fried and then coated with sauce before serving. How is the customer supposed to easily remove the tail after that? The food here is edible, but there's unfortunately not too much to say beyond that. I might be down to get the walnut shrimp again if they promise to remove the tails next time.
