Al Boccalino - Maltkiln Lane

It was very hot and we started as the first guests-the menu was not explained well; there is no wine list-just what he is serving. It was terribly hot and the food was very heavy. The spice of the food was mild. There was no salt provided and the garlic bread was the least flavorful I had ever eaten. I ordered the watermelon salad per the online recommendations and found it soft and tasteless. I would not recommend this restaurant. I'm sure on a cooler night it would have been better-but put some ice in the water when it's hot at the very least!

Quiet place with plenty of seating. No waiting during dinner hour on a Wednesday evening with a large event in town. Food was decent and well priced. Large order of Clams (for an appitizer) two pasta dishes, garlic bread, and two sodas came out to $58. The most expensive dish being the clan appitizer special.

This restaurant is a little bit challenged on the service side, but the food is truly wonderful. The pasta is simply superb.

We are out-of-towners and was told we must go here. Well we are so glad we did. Great food, great wine list(! and the service was spectacular. We had Bill as our waiter. He was fantastic. supper accommodating and was very flexible on adding things to our menu. had a real eye for the right amount of food to order and helped select our wine... a great guy!

Not much to look at but the food and service were great. The food was affordably price and delicious.
