River View Cafe - Malacca

The ambience was nice. It was a cool evening, great for dining out on the terrace with a great view of the river and passing boats. The Wild Mushroom Soup was salty and the garlic bread was dump into the soup. The Chicken Chop was tender and nice. The mash potato and vege on the side was great. The Linguini Clam would have been great if the clam was not overcooked. The slightly spicy sauce that comes with the linguini was very good.

Had some chicken keema omelette with cheese chapati and plain chapati and it was so good.. They have big portions and the price is very reasonable despite being in a tourist spot.. the host was very friendly to us.. highly recommend to check out this place

Ordered boneless butter chicken massala and lamb shank biryani, both are very delicious. Although took quite some time to prepare as only one person named Chef Saeed is making the foods, drinks and taking the orders for tonight, so quite understandable. The drinks are tasty as well, a good way to end tonight with a happy tummy, thank you (ps: quite pricy though, so don't expect it to be cheap

Service is really good, staff is welcoming and friendly. I tried butter chicken, with naan. Fresh mango and yogurt really cherry on the cake. If you like spicy, order very spicy. Tastes like home cooking. Delicious

Worst restaurant ever. Ordered food and had to wait 1 hour for it to arrive and it arrived super cold. And we were the only customer at restaurant.. Just paid for the food and left. Waste of money and time. If you can’t run a business, don’t run it. Ruining a perfectly good family holiday. 100% not recommended.
