Pukalani Country Club - Makawao

Don’t let the club house scare you. This is an amazingly well kept course with consistent greens and well kept fairways. They spend their money on keeping the course nice. A great value on Thursday, $49 including cart.

We ordered three burgers and one fish and chips, and when we got home, each plate had at most half a handful of fries, all for $70. The woman at the counter was also hurrying us while we placed our order over the phone. As a resident from out of town, I will definitely not be returning to this restaurant.

I recently had the chance to play at Pukalani Golf Course, and I was quite impressed with the condition of the course overall. The greens were well-maintained, although I found them to be a bit slower than I prefer. One aspect that could use improvement is their fleet of golf carts; they seem to be around 20 years old and are, in my opinion, the most outdated on Maui. This is the main reason I can't give a full 5-star rating. However, if you're looking for a solid golfing experience and can overlook the cart situation, Pukalani is still a great option.

A wonderful place for breakfast, lunch, or brunch! We visited to celebrate our uncle's birthday. The service was outstanding, and the food came out quickly and was delicious. We shared the fried rice with kimchi (so tasty!) and a mushroom burger. The fries had just the right amount of crispness! The portion of fried rice was generous, and the over-easy egg on top was perfectly cooked! Our uncle had the fish and chips and absolutely loved it. It's a fantastic spot to enjoy, even if you're not a golfer!
