Contribuiți la feedback'Been reading about little Tokyo for a while now and finally I was able to visit on a weekday after work. This place is a steal! I would have given them a 5 if they serve edamame and if the restaurant is fly-free ????. Aside from the fact that their food is umami-packed (yes, umami triggers my migraine so I know the moment i take a dash); the dishes I ordered are worth every centavo! I ordered the Han Chan Set which includes the following: • shoyu ramen • half serving of chahan (japanese fried rice) • your choice of gyoza or vegetables Their ramen is really good????????! It is comparable to what I had in Chiba. The chahan should not be labeled half because really it is a cupful! For Php 288, you either get 5peices gyoza or a plateful of stir fry veggies. I honestly was not able to finish my set, after half ramen I was so full- so yes, the serving is HUGE. Plus they serve free cold tea, which is what i always ask in Japanese restos. If you are not so particular with non-instagram worthy background, not so sensitive with flies, and would want to spend less than php300 for a meal - Yamazaki Bento ???? is your place to go!

Big big fan of Japanese food! The only downside to it is that it can be a bit costly. While it is true for most of the Japanese Restos that i know, (well except tokyo tokyo) Yamazaki is a proof that Japanese cuisine can be cheap and yet authentic. Yamazaki is a hole in the wall resto located in Little Tokyo Makati. It looks like a restaurant outside but when you enter its doors you'd be surprised that the first thing you would see is their grocery store which sells Japanese made products. What I like about the place is that it serves good Japanese food with huge servings but at a cheaper price. I think it has something with the cost of the interiors (design of the whole thing) that's why it's not as expensive as compared to the others. I love their food and everything about it, however what im not fond of is the ambiance and other waitress who is a bit "unfriendly". All in all everything is more than ok ????
If your looking for an affordable Japanese bento, this is the place to be. Bento at 200++ only for dine in. Bento serve with cold salad pasta, miso soup and cold tea. Beef yakinuku and shrimp tendon are my favorite. Take out is cheaper since you will not be serve with soup and tea.
An affordable place to satisfy your japanese cravings shoyu ramen - i think its close to the ramen from japan because this place is always full, almost everyone is eating the ramen. hahaha tonkatsu - your typical tonkatsu with sides gyoza - i always order this and it didn't disappoint
