St. Marc Cafe - Makati

Did I like it? YAS! My boyfriend and I have been wanting to try this resto for quite some time but only got to try it now. We had the Mango Fantasy and Iced Cafe Mocha and we LOVED it. My only concern was that the Mango Fantasy became too sweet as I ate it and I'm not really a fan of extremely sweet food but the cereals were a nice touch and made it enjoyable to eat. The iced mocha has a fair amount of serving considering its price.  As for the place, it's a bit narrow and crowded especially during peak hours but we still had a great time nonetheless.  Is it affordable? It's  a bit pricey. For 2 items we paid almost 500 pesos and that's only a drink and a dessert. Will I come back? YESSSS. We read a lot of positive reviews about their Carbonara so we'll definitely be back to try it! <3

I usually get the egg salsa and chococro at this restaurant and they are both delicious. I'm looking forward to trying one of their desserts next time. It's a great spot to hang out with friends, my artist friends and I often meet up here. They serve dishes that are perfect for lunch and also have tasty desserts.

More than just pastries... Best known for their chococro, St. Marc's offers a myriad of dishes like sundaes, pastries, pastas and even burgers. They also have some great drinks that I have previously enjoyed... Only thing is I don't appreciate it when the store doesn't offer soy or low fat milk options; as is the case for St Marc. Sad... I'm lactose intolerant so my tummy is not too happy with the lack of options. Tired from a meeting, I chose to have lunch at this cafe. I finally decided to try their Menchi Katsu burger... I drank my matcha latte while waiting for the staff to prep the burger. It was kind of a long wait, but I didn't really mind. I risked having the matcha latte because the rainy weather made me crave for something hot... My tummy was not too happy after though. I picked up the burger at the counter (with my tuna potato danish that I had wrapped for takeaway). It's a good sized burger with a fair amount of fries on the side-- fit for one pretty hungry person. I thought the burger was okay, I wish the patty had more flavor. It lacked seasoning but I liked the crunch. The sauce in between kept it from becoming too dry. My bad, but it didn't go with the matcha latte, ooops!???? Fries lacked seasoning as well, but the ketchup helped a lot. Self service, but I wish they cleaned the tables more thoroughly... Some of the tables were a little sticky... P.S. I have yet to taste my danish! First time to order it.

Our first St. Marc's experience was Christmas 2016. We took the train from Osaka to Kyoto and starving for breakfast, found St. Marc Cafe somewhere near Nishiki market . Loved their choco croissant then. Love it now at its local branch in Greenbelt. What Pigoutsundays ordered and loved: Mango Fantasy P250 : The ice cream was creamy and satin smooth and went well with the sweetness of the mango and jelly ???????????????????? Choco banana Fuji P230: The puff pastry stood out for me. It held its chewiness even as it was smothered by a scoop of what looked like soft serve vanilla ice cream .The sweet banana rounded it all up into one delicious dessert ????????????????????
