Grub Shack Express Grill - Makati

Props to the resto/bar/eatery with the rudest waiters and waitresses. Asked for a glass of water and was told to get it myself. 2 different incidents of unacceptable behavior. To the owners, save your business. Change your crew.

We tried this place because we saw that the price is on our bracket. But to our surprise the place is already dull and literally hot the waiters won't turn on the air-con despite the amount of customers dining in. Also, we were bothered with their plastic glasses because its so dirty. Anyway, about the food we tried the Special Salisbury Steak, Chili Garlic Chicken, Pork Chop Rice, Parmigiana Chicken, Fish and Chips lastly the best seller Buffalo Chicken. Salisbury Steak is overcook too much gravy Chili Garlic Chicken is ok (4 pcs. But usual taste) Pork Chop Rice is ok (although the size is disappointing) Fish and Chips it taste like other meat then fish plus to my surprise when I took out the breading the fish is RAW that us all worried. Parmigiana Chicken was the legit taste for me for a restaurant quality and its not even their best-seller. While the Buffalo Wings was nothing WOW to it just the usual. If your looking for a place to dine, I won't recommend you to this place preferably for drinking sessions after a long day.

Midnight craving brought us here and it feels like they're about to close but here in Zomato they're supposed to be open 24hrs... Anyway, we ordered their Spicy Squid, Baby Back Rib, Grilled Pork Belly, Bangus Steak and the Chubster (the menu is from both resto bar the chili peppers and grub shack). All of our orders taste good, their servings were generous and they're fast, so everyone's satisfied. What needs to improve in the place is perhaps the ambience, it's so dull, too old-looking and it's too dark outside. In conclusion, this is one of those places where you get what you paid for, so it's not so bad. :)

After a long day of work, we had stopped at Grub Shack just to have a couple of beers. This is a small place at the corner of Valero Street, modestly designed and furnished, largely visited by people for its outdoor seating area which it shares with the restaurant next to it i.e. Chilli Peppers. The staff is friendly and the service is quick. This place is ideal for people who want to have a few San Migs (priced at just 60 bucks) after work over some light snacks.
