Kreta - Mainz

It is highly defiantly authentic Greek eating. they are family businesses, very friendly and outgoing. all foods are fresh and at a reasonable price. they offer a lunch buffet during the week and of course that free shot of ouzo after their meal, yum!

We ate here a few times when I was really impressed by the choice of fresh fish on the board. When I asked for fresh fishing for the second time, I was impressed that the owner said he didn't have... much to offer and recommend other dishes. the lamb with okra and the grilled fresh tinted fish were excellent as the grilled courgettes and the salads. this large restaurant can be a bit loud and the decor is a bit economical (with a small s but eating more than does for this.

It's a Greek restaurant that looks like that. From ambience (Mediterran) to the delicious dishes everything great. A Greek cuisine that deserves this name. Staff very attentive and polite.
