Eat N Repeat - Madurai

Food and Service was really good. Great ambience and very friendly staff. Would specially talk about Francis, who served us during our lunch. He was courteous and took care of all need. Would visit Ahaaram again next time I come to Madurai

We have been staying with GRT regency every year it’s an annual thing to visit Madurai and every year the hotel and staff have surpassed our expectations except for this time. My last review of the restaurant was April 2022 however What let us down The reason for the average rating this time would be Aharaam and the service there. It is one of the best restaurants in Madurai hands down and we look forward to eating here this time though the food taste and spread was average , the service slow and not up to the mark. They did not anticipate the rush not sure why when they were almost booked to hilt) and the dinner service landed up being more than half hr wait for tables acceptable )and another 45 mins for food to arrive not acceptable as they started taking orders of those waiting outside when most who were seated had yet to get the food u can imagine quite a few flare ups took place) For the first time I felt the food to be a let down. Sorely missed the old manager and staff it seems they have been rotated to other branches and the decline/ effect shows. I would urge the management to look into Aharam quality it use to be par excellence the decline is not appreciated. I must thank Pushpa as she arranged a late night meal for us on the first day despite kitchen being closed.

Food tasted amazing. Loved all the items. Don't miss Pongal if you are not a native Tamilian (As we don't get to taste the amazing pongal frequently).

We had the buffet breakfast and dinner over here and the taste was awesome and staff were really friendly.

We visited the place after two long years and were pleasantly surprised to see that the food and service were as amazing as ever. Mr Subhas, Ms Anwari, Ms Sweta and Mr Chandan were extremely polite, attentive and gracious despite and over crowded weekend. Compliments to the Chef on an extremely elaborate and varied buffet as well as great in room food menu. The food whether ordered al a carte, buffet, or in room was always yum. Service was mention worthy throughout the stay. If you dont get a room to stay the Restaurant s a must visit on your trip to Madurai. Mr Subhas thank you once again for your hospitality.
