Blimpie - Madison

They shut down the location on Brownsferry Rd, and there's not another restaurant for miles.

I used to enjoy eating at Blimpie Subs years ago, so I was pleasantly surprised to find one in Madison during my return to the South! It was just as I remembered. Everything is made to order and offered at very reasonable prices. I even decided to try one of their paninis, which was a bit of a novelty for me! However, I wish the sandwich maker had been better trained in using the panini press. They need to learn how to apply enough pressure to achieve that perfectly flat, crispy texture. Aside from that, the restaurant was very clean, and the quality of the meats and cheeses was excellent! I highly recommend this spot if you're traveling through the Deep South!

I stumbled upon this restaurant one day and was pleasantly surprised to find it open, as I thought all the places in this area had closed down. This spot is fantastic! They slice the meat fresh when you place your order, and they offer a wider variety of breads and sandwiches than other sub shops. My family enjoys this location much more than the alternatives nearby. Don’t forget to get the Blimpie card; you can earn a free regular sub after purchasing nine (large subs count as two punches). This hidden gem is definitely worth trying!

I have a meal there about twice a week. The food is fresh and the bread baked every AM. Both the food and service are of outstanding quality. The staff makes me feel welcomed and is always eager to make my food just the way I request. The entireestablishment is neet, clean.!

My mom loves this little place! She is always talking about how nice the lady is, the cleanliness, the sandwiches. Although I've never tried the smoothies (like everyone talks about), I tried a meatball sub it was delicious. I haven't been to a subshop in years (as some of them have gone considerably downhill)..However this is a nice stop on the way home.
