Burger King - Macon

The meat they serve tastes worse than dog food, and that’s saying something. The staff, mostly from Generation X, act as if they don't care about their work or the customers. It’s important to teach our children how to be responsible and take pride in their work, no matter what it is. Lastly, it would be great if they could put their phones away while working. Better yet, leave their phones in the car and focus on their jobs. It’s what we’re paying for. If I were in charge, I would consider firing anyone who brought their phone to work, regardless of whether they were using it. Having it on them shows a lack of commitment to their responsibilities.

I just wanted a Whopper Jr. I arrived at 11:06, but didn’t get my order until 11:40. Can we say it was slow service?

The food was really fresh and served hot. We took our meals back to our lunch break, and while the fries weren't as hot, they were still quite tasty. Overall, I enjoyed my meal.

It's as if the food is made to order or something. They ask for a name, yet still seem unaware of what was ordered. The wait in the drive-thru is going to be quite lengthy.

I normally have very good service here, but today (7/18/2022) was horrible. My order was taken very quickly however they held the car in front of me at the pay window for almost 10 minutes. I finally called the store while In the drive-through line to ask them if they could move the car ahead. I know someone may think this is entitled behavior but are we not entitled to better service? As someone else mentioned, there is only one way out once you have turned the corner after ordering, so if a car is behind you (in my case there was) you are stuck. If there wasn 't a line behind me, I would have driven over the curb and on their grass to leave. I saw people drive up, park, go in and come back out with their food and we hadn 't moved at all. I am usually very patient when going through the drive-through of any restaurant as I know how difficult this can be, but today was just unnecessarily stressful. If the people going in were also forced to wait, then maybe it wouldn 't have been so bad. I 'm not necessarily done with Burger King, but I am done with this location.
