Have to stop by here every time we go to the island. Love their pizza and the prices are good too.
Very good pizza, but yes a bit pricey, but if you think about the taste, atmosphere and counter help friendly staff, I'd rather the price.
Got in right when they opened and got our food immediately. I wasn't expecting anything great but I was pleasantly surprised with the food especially the bread sticks. Thick, fluffy, and garlicky. Also, every other restaurant was packed and expensive. The prices were on par with a non tourist town and it wasn't busy at all.
After our hike through Fort Mackinac and over to Arch Rock, we were ready for a late lunch. When we arrived at the place we had chosen, based on reviews, it was closed for a private function. We didn’t have a back-up picked out, so we wandered down main street. Everything looked very crowded and we weren’t sure what we were hungry for. Eventually, we settled for Island Slice Pizzeria, mostly because there was indoor seating available. It was a cute place; nothing fancy. The pizza was decent, not fantastic; typical of what you could find in any mall food court. A little pricey, but to be expected on an island tourist resort. We were satisfied with our meal, quality and timeliness of service, and cleanliness of the place.
