Great Turtle Brewery Distillery

I highly recommend this restaurant. They are extremely dog-friendly on the patio. I enjoyed trying both the beer and spirit flights. The brisket was excellent, and the upgrade from chips to French fries was definitely worth it because they were crispy and delicious. The atmosphere was wonderful, and the staff were very friendly. I will definitely be returning on my next visit to the island!

Our group of eight was promptly seated and our server, Pearl, was excellent. The prices were high, but everyone enjoyed their meals. We tried the BBQ brisket flatbread pizza, which had very little brisket on it - we even had to ask if it was supposed to have meat! However, the standout dish was their beer cheese soup made with crème ale and garnished with chopped kielbasa. It was the best thing I had eaten on the island in 3 days. I highly recommend it!

Service was great. Atmosphere drinks were decent. Food was overpriced mediocre at best. Burger, Meatloaf and Onion Rings all tasted pre prepared and/or overcooked, or microwaved.

We absolutely adore this restaurant! We ordered the flights and they were incredibly delicious. We also tried the Flatbread pizzas, the short rib, and the pineapple and pulled pork - all of which were amazing. The atmosphere was perfect and we met a lot of friendly people. We loved it so much that we ended up going back for a second time on the same day. Highly recommend!

This brewery has a great location on Mackinaw Island! It's just as you get off the Shepler ferry. My husband got a flight of beer and I got a cocktail. Loved the drinks! Service was spectacular! We Sat at the bar and chatted with our bartender. We ordered the burnt ends and, well they definitely weren't ends but it still tastes good. The sweet bbq sauce was delicious. They also have some cute t-shirts and other swag for sale.
