The Black Lion Inn - MACHYNLLETH

From the outside this 'pub ' does not look much, but based on the reviews we have booked a table for 6 of us. at the arrival the owner was very welcoming. we ordered a lot of food. the menu was not the most varied, but everyone was very satisfied with it. I personally ordered one of the burgers. I know it's a little sad to cycle over a burger, but the bark pattie was simply the best I ever tasted and cooked perfectly. we had a nice week in wales, but that was the best meal we had all week.

Astonishing pub I've visited since my childhood. we are always looking forward to our visit in black lion- thanks to friendly service and amazing eating. large gluten-free meals in the offer including pizzas and burger also the selection of alcohol-free drinks included gin.

Always good food here and a warm welcome! Even do awesome Sunday lunch to take away, which is also amazing! Perfect heart warming food.

Very friendly and comfortable place to have a meal. Roast beef dinner was excellent and plenty of it!!! Pud was good too.
