Contribuiți la feedbackFive location but service is a little lower since the depature of Morula Sun to Menlyn. The now revamped Gold Rush Mzansi resort still holds a lot of potential. Morale in general still a bit low. Guess a turn-around strategy for them would be on uplifting and motivating staff and the entire Mabopane Community. We could do with a little All White Event (that's the flagship Annual Perfomance Offering by Sister T and Company) or the Sunday Soul Session. A return to Lethabong Commedy Thursdays or the all too familiar Razooz Ladies And Gents Nights. We miss you Manello (or Morula); where are you?
Loadshadding and service..no man.. But the overall concept for your privacy..cool Rooms: 4 Service: 2 Location: 3
This restaurant is terrible. The security at the entrance seems like she hates her job, the garden is unkempt and dirty, the room only had one towel and no glasses or cups. The side lamp, plug, and air conditioning were not working, and the bathroom tap only had hot water. The only reason for giving this place one star is for the receptionist. Overall, it felt like we were staying at a cheap backpacker hostel.
What used to be a pinnacle of leisure is now a shadow of it's former self. Of note is the condition of the buildings, swimming pool, picnic site and etc that have deteriorated to the lowest level imaginable for this type of establishment. My take is the casino and the occasional events are the only things keeping this resort in operation. My two stars are for the casino that's still operating that's all. The resort still has so much potential if only management can realise this and do something before it's too late.
The Morula Sun restaurant is not what it used to be. The cleanliness is poor and it is no longer safe, especially outside the facility. The rooms are rated 3 out of 5 and the service is also a 3. The location is rated a 4. The highlight of the hotel is that it is quiet.
