Casa Jiminez - Lynwood

Several years ago, I lived in Lynwood, CA, and often enjoyed meals at this restaurant. We found ourselves in the area today and decided to check if it was still as good as it was back in the '80s—and it definitely is! It's family-owned, and I fondly remember dining at their Norwalk location before it closed in the '90s or '00s when the building was sold. I miss Jose and his son from Norwalk. Food rating: 5/5.

This restaurant offers an excellent variety of authentic Mexican dishes that come close to, if not rival, home cooking. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, making for a pleasant dining experience. Food: 5/5.
