Victoria's Kitchen - Luton

My family and I have ordered from this restaurant multiple times, but each time the food has been greasy or the meat very dry. Today, on 01/08/21, I picked up a takeout order and served it to my family. To our horror, my 16-year-old daughter found two dead flies in her rice. Additionally, I discovered pieces of plastic in my dish. I refused to let my partner and two other children eat their meals. I am furious and will never give my money to this restaurant again. I feel sick and disgusted, and I cannot reach anyone on the phone to complain. I will be reporting this restaurant tomorrow. DO NOT EAT HERE.

The staff at this restaurant were extremely rude. When I walked in, they gave me dirty looks and seemed annoyed that I was there. Despite this, I asked if I could place an order. Unfortunately, I found a hair in my soup and when I tried to leave, the staff would not allow me to go, questioning why a white person would even come to their shop. They even got the shop next door involved, who came out with metal poles. Four of them kicked my car and circled around it, forcing me to confront them. This behavior was completely unacceptable.

This restaurant is an excellent choice for enjoying authentic West African cuisine. My favorite dishes, such as Afang, Ayamase, Jollof, Suya Chicken, and Plantain, are all delicious. I absolutely love the food here, and I want to give a special shoutout to the chef.

Celebrating my daughter’s first birthday I decided get Victoria’s kitchen to be responsible for the catering, it was the best decision I’ve made in a long time. The food was so amazingly delicious and had every guest talking and wanting to know who was responsible for the cooking. I had all kind of people around, from different countries, backgrounds and ethnicity and not one person will say they didn’t enjoy the food. Thank you so much for making my daughter’s day an amazing one.

My husband and I visit here often, we travel all the way from Bedford to Luton as he really loves the authentic freshly cooked food which reminds him of home. The staff are always friendly and it has a calm and quiet atmosphere to enjoy, its great value for money, a limited menu but traditional. See you next time guys.
