La Perle D'asie - Luik

The Bead of Asie is located in one of the streets off the square. The set menu was reasonable at 16€ for an appetizer, soup, hot dish, and dessert. We were excited to try it out, but were disappointed to find the restaurant nearly empty. Despite this, the manager seated us at a table for two right next to another couple, making for an awkward dining experience. The chips tasted odd, like cheese, and the salad was small and dry. The soup was tasty but lacking in quantity. The hot dish, 3 spring rolls, was unremarkable. The beef with Chinese mushrooms was served on a hot plate in front of us, emitting a nauseating odor. The meat was off and had a strong smell, but when we mentioned it to the waitress she dismissed our concerns. The kitchen seemed unclean and the overall experience was disappointing given the price and quality promised. It's best to avoid this place if you're looking for good, clean Chinese food.

The service was welcoming and friendly. However, the prices on the menu were higher than expected at 14€ and 15.50€. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre at best. The homemade aperitif was made from canned juice, the sauces were tasteless, the dishes were disappointing, and the fruits seemed to come straight from cans. Overall, it was a waste of time and money. Furthermore, it ended in a bad note as all five of us at the table felt sick afterwards. It is clear that this restaurant is not the same as it was five years ago. I would rate the quality a 3 out of 10 (only because 5 was not an option).

Very good Asian restaurant without pretention. value for unbeatable money. The boss is a really welcoming and charming lady! I'm clearly a fan of this little restaurant!

The restaurant was empty when we arrived and we were seated at a table near an aquarium. However, a few minutes later, another couple was seated right next to us, despite the restaurant being empty. The chips that came with the meal were not appetizing, and the salad was minimal and dry. The chicken dish was also disappointing with a strange smell and taste, making it hard to eat. When we politely mentioned our concerns to the waitress, she dismissed it as the taste of mushrooms. Overall, the restaurant's food quality was poor and the prices were high. We would not recommend this place if you are looking for a good, clean, and high-quality Chinese meal.

Advice to those who love Asian cuisine without chichi. pleasant welcome, very good cuisine and cheaper.
