Not very friendly. Was very disappointed in customer service.
While I'm not personally sold on the rolled ice-cream thing (I may stop by for a boba next time), Glazier is a very nice shop to swing by for the quality of what they put in and their good offering variety. If you decide to check them out, don't miss their yelp offers (discounts on first order and a bigger coupon)! Parking is always a struggle bus around here, so shoot for whatever street parking you can find. It's right next to Los Gatos Cafe though, so if you're here for them you can double up on culinary delights. They've got a decent amount of interior and exterior options for seating. Once you've finished placing your order up front, you get to have the option of watching them make your ice cream to order. Note that they have a decent number of free toppings and a good premium topping variety, but recommended toppings will pull from both types. However, they have non-dairy (Almond milk) options for every ice cream and it's not extra! I opted for a matcha-cha! (with added lychee and boba) and my brother got a pink kiwiberry seasonal (added honey, kiwi, strawberry). Matcha-cha Having this non-dairy definitely makes it a much more subtle ice-cream, but this ended up working out fine as the blueberries were quite a subtle flavor. I prefer a heavier matcha flavor, but this was still enjoyable. The rolled ice cream texture is quite novel until things start to melt into each other (getting into the hotter weather this may not be too long, we had maybe about 5 minutes before melding). The lychee and boba were nice toppings, though notably mostly unsweetened. Better for those watching their sugar and made them better compliments with the ice cream honestly. Pink Kiwiberry My brother reports that he was extremely happy with this rolled ice cream even if the rolled part didn't last too long after piercing the roll. He found it hard to detect the kiwi in the ice cream, but the fruit was fresh, the ice cream was thoroughly rich and creamy, and would absolutely eat more of it if he could.
I'm going start off with sayin I am a very easy going person and truly never leave reviews but all I can say is that this place is horrific and if I could give it no stars I would. The concept seems amazing but when me and my wife went in to glazier, this past Sunday, our experience could not have been worse. Walking in there seemed to be a lot of commotion and though I understand everyone has their bad days but crying sobbing in front of customers is absolutely unacceptable. I also do not know what was going on in the back but there was a lot of screaming and chaos. I'm not even going to blame the workers in this situation because clearly the store is run by kids who have not been trained on customer service and they seemed stressed and under staffed. Putting aside the unprofessional setting, there is so much more wrong with the store. The counters grimy, the floors sticky and visible film of ice cream on the sneeze guard is unorderly AND there was a pile of dishes in the sink so big that the employees had no measuring cups so they would messily rinse them WITH JUST WATER. This place has to be breaking so many health code violations. My wife and I never want to cause a scene which is why we didn't say anything, grabbed our ice cream, and left. The actual ice cream was okay, nothing special though but I cannot go on without bringing this to the attention of others. glazier needs ether new management or to be shut down all together.
Glazier is a nice place for boba and ice cream. They have a check-in offer I advise using. The place is a bit small but shows a lot of aesthetic in its color. It is right next to Los Gatos Cafe, so it's a good place to stop by right after eating. Onto the items themselves, I was told that the Hello Marshmallow was the most popular and so I got it. The oreo, marshmallow, and nutella are a perfect combo and I would advise adding more toppings to it. The workers there are friendly and a lot was made into making these rolled ice creams. At the end of the day, I got no complaint about Glazier and definitely recommend going here!
