When I asked the waitress about the desserts, she described three options that sounded decent, so we ordered all of them to sample. Unfortunately, they were all quite unappetizing, and we barely took a bite of each. I also noticed her serving a chocolate cake to the table next to us, but she hadn’t mentioned anything about a chocolate dessert to us. When the bill arrived, it was a staggering $200. I left feeling awful for choosing this place for my husband's birthday dinner. The service and food were disappointing—think twice before spending your money here.
I had a lovely casual dinner at this restaurant. The atmosphere was just right, and they managed to keep the place warm on these chilly nights, even though it’s an open poolside spot. It’s a great place to hang out with friends. I enjoyed their house margarita and the Polo Adobado dish. I definitely plan to return to try the other margaritas. There's also an open bar where you can order a variety of drinks. This restaurant is located at Hotel Figueroa.
I recently dined at a restaurant that, like many I’ve visited lately, was quite dimly lit, making it difficult to see my food. However, the dishes were absolutely delicious! I tried the barbacoa short rib enchiladas, which were incredibly tasty. I highly recommend trying their Taco Tuesday special and getting the $20 pitcher of margaritas – I wish I had! This might just become my go-to spot for Mexican cuisine, especially given its reasonable prices and excellent customer service. The atmosphere was vibrant and lively during my visit. I'm surprised I’ve been passing this place almost daily without realizing it’s right behind Hotel Figueroa!
We came here because we wanted something different than the more common restaurant experiences at LA live. One block further we found this little gem inside of the Hotel Figueroa. Bottomless mimosas for brunch, breakfast burrito and avocado toast. So happywe came here instead of settling for the usual fare.
Eat is fantastic! We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and can't wait to return. For our appetizers, we had carpaccio and arancini. For the main courses, we tried bone marrow pasta and branzino. On this visit, we explored a new menu, and we found the food to be outstanding. Although the service was a bit slow, we loved the atmosphere and finished our meal with tiramisu and cappuccino for dessert. We'll definitely be back!
