When you order, be sure to get the daily special—it's affordable and changes each day. My favorite special was the tinga tostada. You’re typically served water and sometimes bread with butter, which is a nice touch. The restaurant is well-maintained and has a somewhat upscale, middle-class feel. The waitstaff uniforms are quite nice, and I still remember the adorable waitress from my freshman year. On the downside, if you’re looking for something specific, it might be pricey, but you do pay for the atmosphere and quality of the place, right? I definitely wouldn’t recommend the pizza—it was terrible and not worth the money. However, the fish and chips were quite good!

I've always been aware of this place but had never stepped inside until today. I wasn't feeling well, and it was one of the few spots on campus that served excellent soup. I got the tomato soup and chicken soup to go, and they were both fantastic! I particularly loved the tomato soup; it was incredibly creamy and full of flavor. I don't understand why more students don't come here, but I definitely will be returning!

The food is consistently well prepared and delicious, workers provides awesome customer service. I really like how neat it is and mood. I highly recommend this place.

Overpriced. I came here Bc I needed something small for lunch yet healthy. So decided on the half sandwich and soup. They charge $10 for this meal, when you can get the whole sandwich with a side for $12. (Eye roll). The half meal honestly is not with $10 (but I guess that my punishment for having a healthier diet, pay more for less), and it should really cost more like $7 to $8. The food was good, so I’ll give them two stars instead of one. But I don’t recommending coming here unless you have money to waste, or as I overheard some faculty, “needing to escape from students”.

I can't emphasize enough how much I love this place! They serve the best sweet potato fries on campus. The cheese pizza is absolutely delicious, and the prices for the salads and pastrami are quite reasonable. You even get a complimentary side of toppings along with a tasty cookie. It's a great spot for lunch, especially if you're willing to spend a little more or want to treat your parents to a nice, quiet meal on campus.
