I should also mention that this is one of the few Black-owned Mexican restaurants, and they definitely know what they're doing. I tend to be quite critical when reviewing, and I don’t give scores lightly, but I would absolutely recommend this place. There’s often a line, but the wait isn’t too long, so don’t let that deter you. My only minor critique is that the meat was a bit chewy, but that’s just a small detail. I'm definitely planning to return to try more menu items!

Hey everyone, your food looks amazing! I just wanted to offer a small tip. I noticed in your Facebook promotional video that you put the rice before the beans. If you try putting the beans first, the rice is less likely to stick to the burritos.

The Best taco spot in LA. Their 3 meat burrito is like no other. Well worth it .After I bit into my burrito I looked for Taco Mel just so I can give em a hug, yea it?s that good!

Had a lot of tacos from a lot of different places during a recent trip to LA. Taco Mell had hands-down the best steak tacos I tried. I went with a large group and everyone ordered something different. Everyone was satisfied. This will definitely be aregular stop for me anytime I'm in town.
