Santouka Ramen - Los Angeles

This might be the best ramen in the area. I highly recommend trying the salt ramen. The broth is deeply flavorful, with a slight hint of fermentation, possibly from miso or mirin. The pork belly is tender and fresh, and the toppings are diverse and perfectly complement the dish. The prices are very reasonable too. Overall, this place is a hidden gem in the area!

I ordered #39 large Spicy Miso Ramen. The meat was perfect, very tender and flavorful. The soup and noodles were fine. The portion was modest. This is part of the food court. Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, the inside seating was limited, so go early if you want dine-in.

I returned after they reopened, and I was pleased to find that they now accept credit cards. The ramen continues to be consistently excellent, just as I've enjoyed it over the years. The toroniku is fantastic!
