Redwood Grill - Los Angeles

I wasn't expecting much, but I absolutely loved this place! I discovered it this afternoon through a friend's recommendation and decided to check out their Sunday brunch with live bands. As a secret country music fan, I had an amazing time listening to the two country and Rockabilly bands performing today. It looks a bit like a dive from the outside, but once you step inside, it's quite clean with a fun pirate theme. The sound system was a little muted, but that didn't stop me from enjoying the experience, especially thanks to the bands. I can't comment on the bar or service since I had just eaten lunch elsewhere, but the plates of food that passed by looked delicious. I can't wait to return on a Sunday to dive into the music scene here. I didn't see a parking lot, and valet service isn't available, so the best way to reach the place is by taking the Red Line, which is super convenient since the metro is just two blocks away. The atmosphere was great, everyone was friendly, and there was a lively group of hipsters, making the fun vibe truly contagious.

This is the best place in LA if you want to be wowed by top touring bands and amazing local acts. The food is fantastic, and the service is reliable! Did I mention it’s the best spot in LA? Oh, I didn’t? Well, it definitely is!

I always have a great experience at this restaurant. The food is incredible, ranging from sweet potato fries served with burgers to steak topped with blue cheese cream. They offer a wide selection of cold beers, both bottled and on draft, along with a complete bar. Every time I've visited, they've had live music, showcasing some truly talented performers, including Tenacious D recently. Definitely worth a visit!

I first came to the Redwood Bar almost ten years ago, and just recently performed there for the first time. Bob the manager is so super friendly, the staff and service were great, and the food was awesome! Our friends who came to see us, as well as we performers were taken extremely good care of. As for the food, they use really fresh ingredients for sure, as you never find food this good in bars. I've seen a lot of great shows at the Redwood over the years and highly recommend this as a great live music venue in DTLA!

Only issue about this bar is that it's not big enough to contain the good times inside. Never not have a dope time. The staff is top notch and the bands are the best in town. This place is awesome.
