Max City Bbq - Los Angeles

Amazing food. The loaded grilled cheese was superb.

Whenever my friends ask for a BBQ recommendation in LA, I always suggest Max City BBQ. Their BBQ is truly outstanding!

Ordered for pick up and it did not disappoint. We had the brisket sliders, baby back ribs, corn bread, side of beans and potato salad. The brisket sliders were by far the best I've ever had. It was full of flavor and juicy. I had the mild bbq sauce with it and it added a good tinge of sweetness to the brisket. The coleslaw also had great flavor (and that says alot from someone who does not like coleslaw). The potato salad was great, it tasted fresh and was seasoned well. The cornbread was nice and warm and I personally do not like corn bread but this one tasted great, like home style cornbread. The Baked beans were okay for me. I think if it didnt have the pork in it, it will taste better to my tastebuds. My boyfriend liked it though. Also, they are not canned from what we can tell. The baby back ribs were full of great flavor, like that smoked packed goodness. It was also a very generous portion for the full rack (can probably share between 3 or 4 people). I will definitely be a regular customer at this spot. Definitely check it out.

It was my 1st time there but as soon as I opened the door I smiled, it smelled soooo good the food was even better than the smell. The staff was all so polite attentive. Bailey is the sweetest in the world, the chef Ruben hooked it up!!! Definitely will be back. Don’t second guess yourself try them out, your stomach taste buds will thank you!

This was the Half Rack Baby Backs, comes with 2 sides, and cornbread. Amazing and I ate 2 of the ribs, just the best.
