Mastro's Ocean Club Downtown Los Angeles

My friend Tillman finally brought a Mastros to downtown LA! As a native of Houston, I’ve been a fan of the LANDRYS family for years, so I’m thrilled that I can just walk across the street to satisfy my Mastro's cravings! The menu is fantastic, and the service is consistently outstanding. I’ve already been three times, even though it hasn't been open for a week yet! I plan to try every item on the menu because, as we all know, I’m a huge food lover. Be sure to have any of the fish blackened, and definitely try the lobster mashed potatoes, hamachi with crispy onions, and the seafood tower – just a few of my favorites. And make sure to finish your meal with their famous butter cake!

As a Downtown resident, I was hoping for a dining experience that offered something unique, similar to the restaurants in Beverly Hills or Newport Beach. However, this place feels more like a Vegas steakhouse, geared towards large groups rather than an intimate outing for couples. Additionally, the wait staff could benefit from more training, while the bus boys and managers were exceptional.

Let me tell you this place was absolutely magical lastnight! I came for my anniversary and they went above and beyond Jared was our server and he blew it away! I have had thousands of servers in my life and he by far the best ever! Food was impeccable as well we got the Chilean sea bass, lobster cocktail, lobster bisque(my favorite , sword fish, and the bone marrow. Followed by a delicious dessert the presentation, amazing for all courses! Not to mention Jared got thesinger Nadia Younes (If you haven't heard of her you need to check her out on all platforms phenomenal! To sing our song! Followed by bringing my ring upgrade on dry ice! Never in my life have I had a better experience all the way arounda moment I truly will remember for the rest of my life thank you Mastros! And thank you Jared! Of you haven't been you definitely need to the ambiance is beautiful?? !

The atmosphere was pleasant, and the servers were attentive and provided great service. Overall, the appetizers were decent, but I found them to be a bit bland and lacking in flavor. However, the lobster sushi was excellent, and the A5 Miyazaki wagyu was top-notch! My favorite dish was the lobster mashed potatoes, which were truly delicious.

Absolutely enjoyed my evening. The service is like none other . The servers are extremely attentive from pouring your water mixing your cocktail at your table cutting your choice meat for you and serving you . The beautiful selection of fresh seafood to a large selection of steaks and chops and amazing sides ... I absolutely loved the lobster Mac and cheese . You most come in and experience the love
