The food at this restaurant used to be exceptional, with a notable Mexican influence on their traditional dishes. However, the quality has declined and now most of the dishes taste like frozen food that has been microwaved.

I visited this restaurant for the first time today for lunch. Parking on the street was not a problem. This place is fantastic. It's cozy with booth style seating. The atmosphere is laid-back and comfortable. I tried their mixed seafood soup, which was enormous! It was served with tortillas, rice, beans, and plenty of chopped onions and cilantro. For the soup and a large coke in a bottle, the total came to about $20.00. Well worth it! Pros: -convenient street parking -delicious food -large portions Cons: -cash only

I was kind of bummed out by the food. It was good but I definitely had better. I don't know if it's because this location is in HP and they're catering to the neighborhood. It didn't taste as authentic as I hoped. I got the Mexican combination plate and I was so excited for the Chile relleno. It was okay, good, but the Chile wasn't fluffy nor was it very tasty. The enchilada left the chicken dry and there was a limited amount of red sauce. I felt that the rice was good but the beans were very salty by itself. We also ordered the guacamole but were also very disappointed. It was basically mashed avocados into a smooth, thick consistency. We had to add salt and lime to it but it was just too smooth. I like my guacamole chunky. Street parking only. Cash only. Meh food, good service.

I've changed my review because I've gone back several times and it's not that good anymore. I ordered steak Picasso and it the meat was hard. Rice was hard and beans were ok. What's going on here?
