Contribuiți la feedbackI've visited Javier's about a dozen times, but this last experience was disappointing. Perhaps it was an off day, but we had the worst meal ever. The chips were cold and stale, and the shrimp seemed to have gone bad. I ordered chicken tacos, and the chicken was tough and stringy. I'm not sure if I will return, especially considering the prices. The food used to be great. Even the valet attendant mentioned that others were complaining as well. I suggest you try it at your own risk. On a positive note, the drinks were good.
As always, everything was wonderful! I thoroughly enjoyed the margarita and ceviche!
The food was good and the service was excellent, but it felt pricey for what you received—similar to other places. We spent over $1,000 at our table, and they didn’t even validate a couple of our parking tickets.
Food: I’ve visited this Javier's multiple times, but I'm sharing photos from my September 2023 visit. I highly recommend starting with the fresh guacamole, which pairs perfectly with the crispy chips and salsa or any of your main dishes. The Fajitas de Carne and Steak Picado are standout dishes—cooked and seasoned to perfection—and come with rice, refried beans, sour cream, and your choice of corn or flour tortillas. You’ll be thoroughly satisfied and might even take some home! Service: Kimberly, the hostess, was warm and professional, and the servers and bus staff were equally attentive. Parking: The restaurant is located in a mall, offering two convenient parking options. Valet service is available just one floor below and is very close to Javier's. Alternatively, if you don't mind a little stroll, you can park in the parking garage. Javier's specializes in Mexican dishes made with high-quality seafood, beef, pork, chicken, and gourmet vegetarian options, and you can truly taste the difference in every bite. I highly recommend this location and the incredible staff!
Next, we enjoyed the Enchiladas Poblanas, drenched in a wonderful mole sauce that was a treat for the taste buds—a true testament to Javier's culinary skills. Getting mole right is no easy feat, but they excelled at it. For our little one, the chicken taquitos were a delightful option. Crispy and filled with well-seasoned shredded chicken, they were just the right size to share. Our table indulged in a variety of desserts, with everyone, especially the child, having a say in the choices. We began with the Pan de Elote, a warm and savory corn cake that perfectly embodied what a great corn dessert should taste like. Its subtle sweetness and comforting texture made it a wonderful way to end our savory meal. The Flan also left a strong impression with its rich, custardy flavor. The thickness and creaminess of the flan showcased the chef's commitment to crafting desserts that enhance the overall dining experience. In summary, Javier's in Century City provided us with a memorable holiday celebration. The impeccable service and culinary mastery evident in every dish make it a place worth returning to, whether during the festive season or whenever craving an authentic Mexican dining experience.
