It’s pretty spartan and lacking in any particular charm or ambiance, but it’s sharp and clean and modern. What most impressed us was the food and service. It was a pretty limited menu but everything we had was delightfully tasty and attractively-presented, and the service was uncommonly friendly and attentive. Romantic? Not so much, but fun and friendly with great food.
The food was excellent and the fried twinkie was AMAZING!
The restaurant was actually closing when we arrived. They hadn’t seen our reservation and closed early due to being slow. But the server accommodated us and kept the kitchen open. The outside area is wonderful. I am sure it is perfect in summer. I will go back next summer for sure!
2nd time there. First time was for lunch and it's been a bit too hot even thought it was March (all or most of the seating is outside). But this time for late dinner it was spectacular absolutely beautiful views of surrounding skyline from the patio of one of the most gorgeous buildings in downtown LA. Food and service were great too at reasonable price. Drinks were pretty good too.
The service was excellent, and we were well taken care of. The food was good, fresh, and beautifully presented. Because it was Valentine’s Day, the menu was somewhat limited. The drinks were strong and well-mixed. However, the music was a bit too loud for comfortable conversation. The outdoor seating was limited, so we opted to sit inside, where we enjoyed great views of the city. We will definitely return when the weather gets warmer.
