El Pollo Loco - Los Angeles

This El Pollo Loco located on Alvarado just north of Macarthur Park is one of those exceptional fast food spots where the food is surprisingly fresh and delicious. The service is consistently friendly and accommodating, earning a perfect 10/10 every time. While it may not be considered a 'flagship' location, it absolutely deserves that recognition. Corporate, take note—you have a hidden gem here! (I have to rave about it: the chicken is unbelievably good!!! It has been a staple in my dinner rotation for over six years now. Kudos to you!)

It's disappointing to learn that the tattooed staff member is no longer working here. He was incredibly kind, charming, and funny, providing excellent customer service that always made my visits enjoyable. The food is also fantastic. I would highly recommend this place!

Great food!! Great service, and great drinks. The only downside, parking kind of sucks unless you were lucky like me to find parking in the front.
