Chico's - Los Angeles

I visited this restaurant over a year ago and had a great experience with the food. Since I was working nearby, I decided to go back. The food was still excellent, but I noticed the prices had gone up significantly. For instance, I paid $14 for menudo, $3.75 per taco, and a carne asada burrito, along with two drinks, totaling $43. The next time I ordered the same meal without the drinks, the total came to $55. I feel that both times I paid too much for the food. Unfortunately, I won't be returning—I've decided to take my business elsewhere.

I've been coming to Chico's for 30 years, and it's the best!

I used to visit Chico's frequently when I worked nearby, so after many years, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it hasn't changed. It is still absolutely fantastic! The food is incredibly delicious. Everything is exceptional. If you're looking for outstanding Mexican cuisine, this is the place to be!

We had a good meal with great service just now. The avocado salad has a super generous amount of avocado. My husband enjoyed beef tacos. And I also had an extremely reasonably priced cheese quesadilla with guacamole included. I also enjoyed the wine margaritas.

I visited this restaurant first for tacos, and I was impressed by the reasonable prices, flavorful salsa, and tender chicken. On my second visit, I came in on a chilly day for pozole, and it was incredibly delicious. They offered me extra spices and chopped oregano to add some extra flavor. This is truly a solid Mexican restaurant in NELA. The service was humble and friendly, and the vintage interior gave it an old-school charm. It’s a cool local spot with a lot of character and great food. Overall, I had an authentic Highland Park experience!
