Chicken Day - Los Angeles

I liked it. Good spot for KFC (Korean fried chicken). Inside is simple. Just a few tables. There's a small patio area. Seems more popular as a takeout option. The chicken was delicious. Great flavors. I also liked their kimchi fried rice. They also serve beer and soju. Service was ok. There's street meter parking or a small lot under the shopping center.

Went here after reading recommendations on Reddit. Went there for lunch and it was empty that should've been a clue. The guy wasn't overly welcoming but wasn't rude either maybe just his personality, but if you're in the service industry maybe have better energy. We ordered the garlic wings and waited the typical 20 minutes for Korean fried chicken, but when they came out they did not have the crunch you expect from Korean fried chicken and they were bland as hell. Would not again. We visited Papas chicken and I highly recommend them.

Delicious food- we ordered the 10-piece fried chicken wings, the cabbage salad, and the scallion salad. We really enjoyed all of it, plus the delicious pickled radishes.

We came on a Monday afternoon and we were the only ones there! We ordered the korean pepper boneless chicken and for some reason we were expecting a dry chicken but it was saucey (that was on us though . But we definitely were not expecting it to be as spicy as it was! This chicken is so intensely spicy, I would only recommend this for people who can handle the spicy (buldak chicken ramen. (Speaking from someone who loves spicy food! The portion was huge and was good for 2 people. Even though it was insanely spicy, it tasted really good but was a bit too tomato-y. The ambience was okay, I don't think I would come back just because there are so many other popular chicken places in KTown.

We also tried the Korean chicken feet with bones in, which unfortunately earned a 1/10 from me. While the sauce was fantastic, the skin was too dry. I was comparing it to the dim sum version, which has softer, easier-to-chew skin. On the other hand, their shoestring regular and garlic fries are a definite 10/10! I’m a fan of fries, and the large portion (serving 4-5 people) is perfect for sharing among friends. I really appreciate the service, too, especially the Korean towelettes and the free access to both cold and hot water. My friends ordered the fried rice and mentioned that it looked better in the photos. Lastly, I found the seaweed crunchy roll to be somewhat bland. While it makes for a decent appetizer, it could benefit from added spices to enhance the flavor. Overall, I'm definitely coming back for their fried chicken. It has become a favorite spot for my friend and me, and I can’t wait to try more of their menu!
