Cafe Dahab - Los Angeles

The restaurant offers an exotic selection of Middle Eastern cuisine that is rare to find elsewhere. They feature some unique Egyptian dishes that every food lover should sample. Their dessert menu is equally special, showcasing much more than just baklava and the typical Middle Eastern sweets you might encounter at other establishments. Our server was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. I will definitely return to this place!

This restaurant doesn't quite meet expectations based on its appearance. The food is good, and the staff is friendly, though the service could be a bit faster. Please note that smoking is not allowed indoors. Prices are somewhat higher compared to other places, and the decor and view of the location are lacking.

HUMMUS, HUMMUS, HUMMUS! As you can see in the picture, we held an epic BLIND Hummus competition featuring 14 different varieties from around the city, including some homemade options. Dahab Hummus emerged as the clear favorite for nearly everyone. The food here is fantastic overall, but the pita bread is a little underwhelming—it's the only downside. My recommendation is to order the hummus to go and pick up pita bread from Bibi's on Pico or Lodge Bread Company. That way, you'll truly experience Hummus Heaven. We proudly consider ourselves hummus experts, having come from Israel and explored many places. Dahab is simply the best. PERIOD. END OF STORY.

If you like tomato soup definitely try theirs : great chicken kabob!!! Very chill environment : The double-double espresso shot is amazing

Food is authentic and absolutely delicious! BEST garlic sauce, tomato soup and chicken shawerma that I've EVER had! (And I absolutely adore garlic and tomato soup! The shrimp is pretty excellent as well. Customer service here is pretty exceptional! They're very kind here and treat their regular customers very well. We're willing to drive a total of 40 miles just to eat here (20 miles there and back . If I lived closer, I'd want to eat here every day!
