Barone's Famous Italian Restaurant

Charming, authentic old-school Italian restaurant! It even features a cheesy lounge singer, which adds to the ambiance. The food was simple yet incredibly fresh. I ordered the spaghetti and ravioli combo, and the ravioli was wonderfully soft and pillowy. It was excellent!

Best Pizza in Town! My family has been enjoying Barone’s pizza for over 30 years, and it truly cannot be beaten! While the decor might not be great and the place can be quite dark, we usually opt for takeout. Our favorite is the pepperoni and mushroom pizza. In my opinion, it is slightly pricey, but the quality of this pizza is worth every penny!

Barones offers a thin, crunchy crust that is simply outstanding. This restaurant has an extensive Italian menu, but when my family visits, we always order the pizza—along with a salad, of course. I've had the pleasure of tasting some of the best pizzas in New York, Berkeley, Chicago, and Denver, and Barones holds its own impressively against the finest in the country. Their regular crust is unmatched in Los Angeles, perhaps only rivaled by Lou Malnati's in Chicago. I highly recommend the mushroom pizza, which is my favorite; the mushrooms are incredibly juicy. They also make an excellent meat pizza.

Great Pizza. Their delicious pizza reminds me of what i grew up on. The restaurant smells like my great grandmas kitchen.

Best Pizza in greater LA. GREAT thin crust pizza in an old-style Italian restaurant. Every time I go to LA, I head over to Van Nuys to get me some Barone's Pizza!!!
