Maruya - Los Alamitos

I went to this restaurant with a friend and it was incredibly delicious! While some types of sushi may be on the pricier side, the quality definitely justifies it. The freshwater eel was incredibly fresh and mouthwatering, and the Miso Ramen tasted almost like authentic ramen! I would highly recommend this place!

The food at this restaurant was delicious, especially the chashu ramen. Just a heads up, the portion size is quite large. I ended up taking some of it home because my eyes were bigger than my stomach.

I think this place has the best bento combo. The amount is fantastic. Their sushi and handrolls are on point! I had the Hamachi and the spicy scallop handroll. Excellent stuff and my wife couldn't dent the bento!

Oh my goodness, this is the best Ramen I've ever had! The bone broth is absolutely perfect and I even asked for more broth. It was a great Valentine's dinner experience, despite the fact that they were short-staffed. The California rolls were decent as well. We had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated, but once we got there, we were quickly attended to. Make sure to sign in right away when you arrive and have your ID and vaccination card ready. I've been to this restaurant about 10 times before and I always order the ramen - it never disappoints. I would definitely rate this restaurant a 10 out of 10.

Every time I come to LA I have to come here. The sushi is amazing!! The staff is very very nice and it’s a great experience overall. I’ll be coming back here every time I visit town.
