Bistro Jolie - Los Alamitos

Nothing special. We took a friend there for a birthday lunch and it was a bit disappointing. We knew the setting wouldn't be anything special but had hopes for the food and service. Both were average at best.

The restaurant has recently revamped their menu, and it is truly fantastic to have such a hidden gem in the area. Dining there makes you feel like you are being transported to a charming French bistro in St. Germain, Paris! The cocktails were exceptional, and every dish was delectable. Originally opening with a different menu, they took the time to reconsider their options, and the result is absolutely flawless. We enjoyed our experience so much that we returned two days in a row because the food was just that good.

I was thoroughly impressed by the cocktails, attentive staff, cozy ambiance, and carefully selected dishes at this restaurant. It is the perfect place for a date night or a special meal. I am looking forward to returning soon.
