Lizzy's Diner - Longview

I visited Lizzy's this morning, and I'm sad that I hadn't been there sooner. The home-cooked meals really captured that charming small-town diner vibe. The staff was very friendly and courteous, and the service was quick and on point. I will definitely be returning!

I always have a fantastic experience when I dine here, especially for breakfast. Their cookies are my absolute favorite! The service is top-notch, the portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. I appreciate that it’s a locally owned, family-run restaurant instead of a typical chain.

Great place for some good ol ' Southern comfort food! I can definitely recommend the meatloaf. And the servers seem genuinely glad to take care of your needs, always with a smile. The lunch crowd tends to be primarily folks adorned with a little 'gray wisedom ' (like me), probably because of not only the great food, but also because the whole place is set up like a 50s-60s diner, and it 's really fun! I now have Lizzy 's down in my regular lunch rotation of favorites, and I know you will, too, once you try it!

We had the chicken strip basket with onion rings instead of fries. The chicken was delicious with the gravy. Some of the onion rings were not, just because the dry skin wasn't peeled off enough, before cutting into rings.
