Root 22 - Longview

A so sweet quiet little restaurant. It is run by the family and very accomodating. My husband and I drove the extra 10 minutes south of Black Diamond, but I didn't know it was a sandwich/pizza place. I asked the older gentleman if they have gluten-free options and he said no. But he said I can make you a nice salad that you won't be disappointed. I told him with all the means you use your creative license. It was AMAZING!! DELICIOUS and fill. Ask for a salad the AnnaMaria!! I have a picture, but it is not uploaded

I stopped at the Eso station and decided to get a breakfast next door is the root 22 route as in tree root. So I had breakfast. It was early in the morning. 9:00, and so the Lord who ran the restaurant, he proposed. Omelette I said. Yeah, that sounds great. I had a ham mushroom Cheddar cheese omelet. Omg was breakfast ever delicious? Most water good. Only the right part for my age over 60 and the hashbrowns. My God, the hash browns should die. There were small Cubit Hasch brews, but they are only cooked to the right amount of herb. Of course he came with toast and jam. It also came with bacon and it was just so delicious and the coffee was so good. I sat on the terrace and saw the main road down. Longview can be a busy place in summer, but miss this opportunity not to stop and get a wonderful meal. Is a very classic old feeling for the restaurant inside and outside. You have a sweet little veranda terrace. I have to sit with my kitty connected to the post. The sun shined and the food was great in the restaurant Root 22. Beautiful people, great atmosphere and the food leaves you with this most pouring taste all day. If you're looking for a wonderful breakfast restaurant, that's all. So if you get a chance and you drive through to stop Longview plan and have something to eat on Route 22 new flavor buds will thank you.

Simple menu with reasonable prices, the food was ready quickly and did not disappoint. Warm welcome at the door and prompt friendly service. Will definitely return next time we are in Longview! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: CA$10–20
