I really wanted to love this restaurant, but unfortunately, I became very ill after my meal. I ordered the soft crab curry, and within 90 minutes of leaving, I was experiencing severe vomiting. I reached out to the restaurant, and they took my concerns seriously, taking notes about my experience. The rest of my dining companions thoroughly enjoyed their meals and did not experience any issues. We shared appetizers and drinks, so it was clearly the curry that caused my problem. I'm genuinely disappointed because I had been looking forward to dining here for weeks. I don’t have a crab allergy—I consume it regularly without any issues. I was unwell for about 16 hours, and it was quite bad. I’m sorry to have to leave this review.

The Hung Lay was the most delicious pork stew I’ve ever had! I also loved the Golden Bag appetizer, which is like a mini egg roll—such a great presentation. Our server, Scott, was outstanding; he had a wonderful personality and was very knowledgeable. My wife has Celiac disease, and he was able to recommend just the right dishes. It felt like he could read our minds, even when it came to wine choices! I’ve tried gourmet Thai restaurants that charge more than twice the price, but honestly, the difference isn’t significant. I would choose Thai District every time!
