East Side Mario's - London

Had the mussels in pesto sauce with noodles and wife had shrimp in a rose sauce penne both at the 14.99 with the salad and soup and bread good meal

We went to East Side Mario's last night for my daughter's university graduation dinner celebration and the food was excellent, the service was fast and we all really enjoyed our meals including the all you can eat salad and garlic loaves.

Had reserved a birthday party for our 15 year old to have a dinner with 2 other families. 12 people in total. My wife had called 5 days in advance and they have a separate room to accommodate occasions like this. When we arrived on the Saturday at 6pm, we were told that they thought our reservation was earlier and that we had missed the time, They had said they called to verify that we were coming. We have call display on both cell phones and home phone and there was no display of a call from the restaurant. If they had missed it, I would prefer they just admit the oversight. As it turned out, they squeezed the 12 of us in the center of the restaurant and did their best to make the best of the situation on a busy night at the restaurant. Kudos to our waiter to serve our families efficiently and still keep smiling throughout. They seemed understaffed for the amount of customers coming into the restaurant.The food was great and we managed to still have a great time.

We have been at other East Side Mario's in the past, however, this was our first time dining at this one and it happened to be a birthday gathering of family and friends. We had a reservation and where seated right away. Eric was our waiter who was outstanding! He was so attentive by taking our drink orders right away, followed by large bowls of caesar salad and warm loaf. We all ordered different items on the menu from pasta, sandwiches and pizza and they were all delicious! He was constantly checking to make sure if everything was ok and he also had a great sense of humour which made our dining experience very pleasurable. We will definitely go back again!

Had lunch with the wife we both ordered all u can eat salad and soup. Wife had a bowl of each. When I asked for more Brooke P gave a huf sound. When I asked for the 3rd bowl of salad. wowNot good I will not be going back
