Chop Steakhouse & Bar - London

Entrée menu is limited to beef. Both the filet mignon and the smoked rib eye were flavourful/tender from a very hot grill but, a bit dry. The vegetables were heirloom with a wonderful taste and loaded baked potato was a nice compliment. Take the...add on of the roasted garlic and shallots as the Béarnaise sauce did not have any taste to it

Chop was able to accommodate a large group while adhering to all pandemic requirements. Their service was top notch including a visit from the owner. There was a minor error where an app arrived late but they resolved the issue to our satisfaction. The food...was PERFECT and as already stated in the title the service was exceptional. I will return whenever staying in London Ontario in the future.

Like a lot of places it appeared there was a staffing shortage so placing orders was slow. The manager did come over to apologize though which was nice. I liked how they had a bread and desert special where proceeds go to a charity. Nice....Had the new york steak and if this is the new way id rather go back to the old way. Seems like its was fried and im pretty sure it wasnt done on a grill. The meat was tasty but very greasy likely from being in butter or something. I mean greasy. It was also very salty and i dont mind salt. Even the mushrooms were so salty its all you could taste. They ran out of baked potatoes but since they likely havent opened up that long ago they didnt know how busy it would be. It was busy. They still took care of us with a replacement item. Drinks and desert were great.

Food was good. Cocktails were tasty. We unfortunately waited a long time for the appetizers; within a few minutes, the main meals arrived that was disappointing. The service was good (Megan and Emily in training).

The staff were amazing, we were there for my sister in law and brother in law's wedding anniversary. We enjoyed being able to go to a restaurant after months. The food was amazing and cooked exactly the way we wanted it. We will...definitely go back.
