Aranka Csarda - London

Very friendly place with delicious food. This place offers authentic home cooked Hungarian food. The cabbage rolls were amazing but so was everything we ordered. Highly reccomend to everyone in that area. Too bad its in the countryside, otherwise more people in London (including us) would come to eat here more often.

This hidden gem in the area is a fantastic find. The Hungarian cuisine here is top-notch, with traditional dishes made fresh and prepared in the authentic way. I enjoyed every item on the menu and highly recommend stopping in for lunch if you're in the area. It's definitely worth it.

Aranka Csarda has been on my list of places to try for several months, and finally we had the opportunity to have dinner there. It exceeded our expectations! The restaurant is beautifully decorated with Eastern European decor, creating a clean, bright, and welcoming dining space. The menu, while not extensive, offers a great selection of traditional dishes. We opted for the cod dinner and the rack of ribs. The cod was perfectly cooked and served with a delightful citrus reduction sauce, parsley potatoes, and steamed veggies. My partner enjoyed the rack of ribs, which came with cabbage salad and fries. Everything was prepared to perfection. The citrus sauce complemented the cod without overpowering it, while the ribs were spiced and tender. The fries were especially outstanding. For dessert, we had a walnut torte trifle with real whipped cream and homemade chocolate sauce. The service was attentive, friendly, and made us feel like valued guests. I will definitely be returning to Aranka Csarda and would highly recommend it to others.

There is plenty of parking available at the restaurant's parking lot, with space for over 30 vehicles so you do not need to worry about finding a spot. They offer both dine-in and takeout options. I chose to dine in and felt very comfortable throughout the meal. The tables were well spread out for social distancing, and the staff were wearing masks for both your safety and theirs. The waiter provided excellent service, making some wonderful recommendations that resulted in delicious dishes. The food was prepared quickly and tasted fantastic. This is the best Hungarian food I have tried in the London area. The prices were very reasonable considering the generous portion sizes. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant and highly recommend giving it a try!
