Taste Of Nawab - London

I hope to give this restaurant five stars on my next visit! We recently moved nearby and decided to try it out based on the fantastic reviews and their free corkage policy for BYOB. The food was outstanding! When we mentioned that we are vegan, the waiter ensured that every dish we ordered was plant-based. The service was swift and friendly. There was no service charge added to the bill (which is quite rare in Muswell Hill), allowing us to leave a tip voluntarily rather than feeling obligated. Overall, it was the best meal we’ve had in London so far! However, the only thing that would prompt me to change this review to five stars is that I wish it had more spice! We didn’t experience any heat at all. The food was delicious, but we came hoping for a spicy curry. Next time, I’ll be sure to request more heat!

We decided to give this restaurant a try because of the great reviews, but we were very disappointed. The balti was bitter and acidic, and the prawns had no flavor at all. I've never seen such small portions of rice! My wife's bhuna was so unappetizing that she couldn't even finish it. We’ll be tossing the menu, along with the metal. Best Indian in North London? That's a joke. I would recommend avoiding this place at all costs.

The quality of the chicken wasn't very impressive, especially considering the price they charge.

Was a regular customer until they began forgetting drinks and I found chicken in my vegetarian curry.
